Hi everyone! Welcome to the weekend! Like Regan I completely spaced on my post yesterday sorry. I think it will take some time for me to get the schedule down.

Like I said in Sunday’s post I have been taking online classes since before COVID. With this change though and all the free time I have I found that I don’t have the same drive that I used to. With my situation I had to take online classes just because they made the most sense for me financially. Online classes are tough. I personally prefer to go into class and be present with my professor and other students. Without the strict guidelines of class times I’ve found it harder for me to really participate fully in a class. I’ve been taking online classes for almost a year now and I cannot wait to get back on to a campus. 

Just like Regan I recently got into a few schools. With the quarantine though my plans of visiting and getting a feel for the schools got pushed. Deciding on colleges during this time is hard for anyone. For me it is really hard because I’ve done all of this before. I chose a four year right after high school and it did not work out for me and I went to a community college after that. This decision is an important one and one that is also pretty scary for most. I’m afraid that I’m going to make the wrong decision and end up back in the same situation I was years ago. Quarantine has just made things tougher for making decisions like this for me. 

College is important to me and many people out there too. Hopefully everyone going through the tough decision making process knows that there are other people who are in the same boat. In the next month I hope to have my final decision between Colorado State University-Fort Collins and University of Colorado-Denver made. There are many factors besides just the school to factor in that people may not always think about. Cost of living is a big one for me. Both of these schools are in areas that reasonable rents can sometimes be hard to find. I will be doing more in depth research to find out the best pricing for housing before I make my final decision. 

I know this post went a little more off the topic but hey we’re not following strict guidelines here! Hope everyone is staying safe and staying home as much as we all can without having to go to work or get the essentials at the store.
