Friday April 24th

Happy Friday!

Posting on time again. Like Regan I think I’ll just make this post kind of a wrap up of this week for me. 

This week brought some sense of normalcy. I worked about 40 hours this week which is the first for me in a long time. Target is super busy right now because the one that i’m at is one of the few stores open. Since Colorado’s governor is letting the stay at home order expire Sunday we are preparing for people to really be out and about. They’re promoting “Safer at Home” instead of it. Hopefully people will still try and stay at home as much as possible so that it doesn’t spread even more than it already has. 

Other than work picking up for me I’ve been still reading a lot and catching up on all my podcasts. Catching up on podcasts is harder than it seems. I listen to two of them regularly, Who? Weekly and Views. Both are weekly podcasts that I listen to each week and then I listen to the Greek Myths episodes of Myths and Legends. Spotify also has a playlist of podcasts that I listen to every once in a while, mainly that contains news podcasts and a sports one called The Lead that I really like. Big fan of podcasts. Also whenever my brother and his friends post theirs on Soundcloud, Shiddy Friends, I listen to it but they haven't posted in a bit so hopefully they will soon because I need some quarantine content.

This week has been looking up for me. The library I also work at is going to start opening back up slowly starting in May so that is super exciting for me. Not sure if the job I got laid off from is opening anytime soon and I’m still trying to decide if I want to go back there when it does. I liked what I was doing but it wasn’t the best pay and I didn’t have the best hours there. Hopefully they do open back up though because it was a great thing that they were doing. Also with the stay at home order lifting I hope I can see some of my friends soon too but I don’t really want to put anyone at risk so I may wait for a bit longer. 

Well gotta get ready for a few FaceTimes and Zoom calls I have today! Stay safe everyone and please follow your local governments orders with quarantine so that we can hopefully keep the curve low.
